Title: Doomsday ~ "Will it be the end? or a starter?" Time: Wednesday, December 19, 2012
I was impatiently awaiting the year-end holidays during my 1st Semester test for STPM. Can't believe it that now we are already in the month of December[last month of 2012] & Christmas is just around the corner.
"It's impossible to foresee the entire path of life" ~ QTE
Well, in fact we never know what is about to happen on the next moment so instead of worrying all those nonsensical stuffs why not just be as happy as you could and enjoy your life to the fullest? Though I don't really bother about all those discussions, facts/ *facts* about doomsday bla bla...I did some research about it.., so this issue actually bother me? Nope! Its just I'm quite interested to explore a little about our Universe since I already love to read and look at pictures of the galaxy stars especially since I was in my primary school days. I'm not being superstitious but I just did it out of curiosity since everyone[religious people, scientist & some websites even have a countdown to doomsday timer...]has been talking about this issue lately.
Believers even claimed that the world will come to an end on 21st December 2012 which is just two more days & then what? KaBooM??? I also read a print out article few days ago and it seems that *NASA* predicted the happening of a total blackout on 23-25th December 2012 during alignment of Universe (what's that? From the info I obtained after trawling the net, it's a period where the Sun & the Earth will align for the very first time. The Earth will shift from current third dimension to zero dimension, then to forth dimension?? 3D>0D>4D? I can merely imagine how could that happen >< y so complicated mia?) In short, during the transition the entire Universe will face massive changes. Those statements I wrote before this sentence were some contrary to some
common believes according to NASA's official webpage Besides, NASA scientists even answered some frequently asked questions in their 2012 timeline which I find it providing more logical answers.
Whatever it's bound to happen will happen sooner or later and I guess it'll be unstoppable. I don't know why but I do have instincts that this world will vanish someday but how would it be like idk. Would it be like what happen in the movie 2012, the science fiction film?
Don't know which statement regarding doomsday is true and what will happen to the Universe and our Mother Earth? All those WH(Why this kind of thing happen? How will doomsday be like? When? etc. )questions occupying your mind. I have a very good answer to all those questions, "WAIT & SEE
Time for me to stop blabbering about doomsday. Btw, just came to realise this post is already my 8th post of the month ^_^
Hinton my upcoming tasks before I get back to school to kick start 2nd Semester of STPM: re-modify abt a past blog post, maybe make a video, argh! learning some html formatting, TAGGING LINKS...& the most important thing I want figure out a PERMANENT BLOG URL! Title: Exotic fruit ~ 'Pulasan' Time: Monday, December 17, 2012
Salam kembali sekali lagi, kali ini saya akan tulis serba sedikit mengenai buah-buahan lagi. :) <<< Nak cuba tulis dalam Bahasa Melayu tapi rasanya macam tak tahu macam mana nak mengarang lar...BM dah berkarat ni. So, BACK TO ENGLISH ^_^
hmm...just noticed that I've just posted a post few hours ago and I'm doing another again...haha...2 posts within 24 hours, not bad right? :P ps. this post is gonna be about fruit again and I wanted to jot down to prove my 'sampatness' (Hokkien word) after discovering that it has edible seed yesterday!
The fruit I'm talking about is 'Pulasan'/ aka 'Kapulasan' in Indonesia, 'ngoh-khonsan' in Thailand & 'bulala' in PhillippinesTadaa! See! Below is the picture I specially edited [I normally just spent my time editing my selca/ group photos, seeing me editing even fruit pics, this has already proven that I'm too free & got nothing better to do :P] for this particular post :)
Already told ya, I seriously have nothing better to do this holidays[not much outings lately ><, jobless..] so I rather blog about my thoughts, latest discovery or whatsoever I felt like narrating that just sitting like a noob doing nothing right? At least I occupy my leisure time with some beneficial interest of mine ;) ps. consoling myself again...
"although I'm being restricted to do somethings, but I've never allow anyone to interfere my enthusiasm to explore and in order to fill my mind with countless inspirations" ~ QFE
Done filing complains about my boring days...due to that I've made use of the search engine to get some general information from the Wikipedia. hmm...interesting! 'PULASAN' was actually named after the method of opening it, which was the act of twisting the fruit with both hands allowing the translucent flesh to pop out & then bon appetit! I prefer this fruit more than 'rambutan' which is 90% similar[taste, colour..] as there are actually the same species. Personally, I love the 'pulasan' more is because the flesh does not stick on to the seed which satisfy my taste buds with the similar sweet and juicy taste of the 'rambutan' without annoying me with those woody seed's skin. Moreover, I just found out that the seed of it is actually edible and tastes like raw almond :) ps. the last time I've thrown away the crunchy seed cuz no one ever told me that it could be eaten >< so I assumed that its like eating 'rambutan', thanks to my aunt for telling me that or else I'll for sure throw it away in future. However, this particular fruit are very rare to be found outside Southeast Asia and hehe...slightly more expensive than the 'ang mo tan'. I bought it for RM5 per kilo in Ipoh and I think its quite worthy for such a nice and rare fruit cuz I actually don't know how much does a kilo of 'rambutan' costs? :P
For those who haven't try this! Don't forget to grab it at the marketplace ^^ ♥
Title: Facts about the "Ananas Comosus" Time: Monday, December 17, 2012
Q: "it can be used as medicine, can be consumed both fresh and cooked, canned, juiced etc. & even used to produce textile fibre" Can anyone unriddle the statement? (answer will be revealed at the end of the post no cheating! aAaa! No trawling the net to get the answer >< or maybe after this paragraph I guess you can already know what am I talking about cuz I'm not good at creating suspense!)
Excuse me for blabbering much...ok now straight to the point! Actually I'm gonna post some facts about the tropical fruit aka PINEAPPLE. Such a weirdo to post about something like this, felt like I'm like taking over the task of an article writer??? (ps. still crapping...)
Wondering why am I posting about it? It is not my favourite fruit after all as I always dislike eating it due to those pricking sensation occurring after I consume those chilled fresh cuts but few days ago was an exceptional case. My neighbour gave us some which their relatives planted by themselves and it was really sweet & juicy especially after leaving it to chill...hmm...heavenly. The bad thing started to arise on the very day I've eaten and also the day after happened after I ate it, DAMN! Here comes diarrhea, next day pain in the lower abdomen(cramps like what happen during women getting their period pain), a little gastric.. Why must the stupid pineapple gave me such a torturing moments? As if I'm a foe of it >< Bloody thing always causing me problems even though I've consumed it after meal. Guess I'm gonna banned pineapples especially raw once for my entire life since it always left me with bad impressions!
After I've recovered I went to google some info about that freaking fruit since I don't have much things to do these days...Read up a few articles regarding pineapples. The first thing when I found the articles I straight away zoomed into the SIDE EFFECTS...found out this:
"After eating a large amount of pineapple, you might experience swelling or tenderness on the lips, inner cheeks and tongue. [large amount? I just ate 2 slices lo!] Typically, this reaction is caused by pineapple's meat-tenderizing properties, and it should resolve itself within a few hours. However, if the swelling is accompanied by a rash, hives or difficulty breathing, it could indicate a pineapple allergy. [lucky thing I didn't get all those] In this case, stop eating and seek medical attention immediately. "
"Taking in too much vitamin C is generally quite safe.[safe? MY FOOT LAR!] As a water-soluble vitamin, excess vitamin C is generally excreted through the urine. However, extremely high doses of vitamin C can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, heartburn, headaches and insomnia[wah!]. Taking in too much of the fruit's bromelain can result in skin rash, vomiting, diarrhea and excessive menstrual bleeding. Large doses of the enzyme could also stimulate uterine contractions, potentially leading to miscarriages in pregnant women."
Honestly speaking, I never knew pineapple could cause so many unpleasant side effects and serious problems. Should really take note about this! However, considering the nutritious value[source of antioxidant, vitamin C, high fiber, can help to slim down & detox] in the spiky green crowed fruit I might still consume it in future but this time I better get those cooked once instead raw ones. Perhaps I should use it to cook some dishes :)
Few more days to Christmas and that also means school holidays are also coming to an end :( Btw, I have a few pending posts which I aim to complete before school reopen
More upcoming posts but I'm still thinking which one should I work on first?

Title: Reviews for movies & dramas Time: Tuesday, December 11, 2012
Happy Holidays people!!! :D I know its has been few weeks since the year end holidays started but now only my blogging mood reignites. Always wanted to blog whenever I'm bored but sometimes due to the lacking of inspiration I just forget about it several times. This time thanks to the Korean Entertainment industry I finally have something to blog about throughout my leisure time. Ever since the come back of the year-end holidays, I'm literally a couch potato who spent most of my time watching all those in my "Watch Later" list Kdrama I've listed before the 1st semester of STPM 2012/2013. So what else should I write about this time if not about Kdramas, K artists/celebs & in short practically every single stuff regarding the Korean which I'm currently obsess with ;-)
1. Jewel in the Palace ♥ Genre: historical fiction, romance ★ Lee Young Ae ★ Ji Jin-Hee ★ Jung Sook Park ★ Hong Ri-Na ★ Im Ho
The very first Korean drama I've watched when it was on Astro few years ago. The story set in the time of Chosun Dynasty & was based on a true story about a legendary woman (Jang Guem) who became the first woman to be a Royal Physician after experiencing through numerous obstacles in the male dominated society.
Personally, I felt that this drama is definitely one of the Best Sageuk (means "historical" in Korean) Drama
2. Boys Over Flowers ♥ ♫ OST "Because I'm Stupid" by Kim Hyun Joong, "My Everything" by Lee Min Ho... Genre: romance, comedy ★ Ku Hye Sun ★ Lee Min Ho ★ Kim Hyun Joong ★ Kim Bum ★ Kim Joon ★ Kim So Eun
This particular Kdrama was the one which made me start keeping an eye on the Kdramas. Despite of the story line was just mainly about love story & luxurious living, I admired the headstrong Geum Jan-Di (Ku Hye Sun) who was the black sheep( she was the only Shihwah student who is from average family) among all the main characters in this drama as. As well as how Gu Jun-Pyo the main ruffian totally changed his negative behaviours and revealed the soft-side of himself after falling head over heals for Jan-Di.
Guess of all Kdramas, this was definitely the one which I've been extremely obsessed with till I kept repeating watching it for numerous times till I actually lost count of how many times I've rewatched?? Maybe 10?20? idk? NO JOKE for my craze over this drama! I even wrote the synopsis of this drama for my actual SPM English Paper, not partly but the whole essay was about it :P Lucky thing I manage to get an A. So sometimes watching dramas is not a bad thing to do as by doing so it inspire us to narrate more :D ps. self consoling again...
Nah! my past blog post regarding this drama: BOF Fever!!! 3. Dong Yi ♥ ♫ OST "A Walk In A Dreamy Road" by Jang Nara... ★ Han Hyo-Joo ★ Ji Jin-Hee ★ Lee So-Yeon ★ Bae Su-Bin Genre: ancient, historical, romance, politics No wonder this drama has some similar points (despite being in a male dominated era, capable woman was getting involved in the society) with "Jewel In The Palace" as it was produced by the same director who is known as Lee Byong-hoon. 4. City Hunter ♥ ♫ OST "Suddenly" by Kim Bo Kyung, "Cupid" by Girls Day... ★ Lee Min Ho ★ Park Min Young ★ Lee Joon-Hyok ★ Kim Sang-Joong Genre: romance, action, thriller
Another awesome drama because LEE MIN HO starred in it :) Yea...that's one of the reason I don't want to miss this hit drama! Besides, hoho! how could I miss a drama which have my favourite actor dealing with WEAPONS & played a tough role? ;)
FYI, you might think of not continuing to watch as the first part of the 1st episode was plain boring showing all those history of why revenge should be taken towards the corrupted politicians who scarified those loyal comrades who were willing to sacrifice their life for the sake of the country bla...bla... but THINK TWICE! After that episode, LMH aka Lee Yun Seong who played a tough role and portrayed a total different characteristics as those he played in the past dramas its totally worth watching!
5. Personal Taste ★ Lee Min Ho ★ Son Ye-Jin Genre: romance, comedy Speaking frankly, even though LMH acted in this drama, I just find it so-so, prefer watching him as the main ruffian in BOF/ as a thriller in City Hunter. To me there's nothing much suspense in this drama as its just some pure and cute love story between the main characters but don't misunderstand my meaning cuz no matter what I still love this drama. hehe...The reason of me liking it, guess I don't have to mention also its guessable :P maybe I'm just expecting too much? 6. The Moon that Embraces the Sun Genre: ancient, historical, romance After finish watching TMTETS, "People who are mend to be together, will be" is the phrase to describe the story line of this drama as a whole. Too lazy to elaborate more about it... 7. Faith ★ Lee Min Ho ★ Kim Hee Sun Genre: fantasy, historical, romance, politics, time travel, medical
First time seeing Lee Min Ho acting in a historical drama. The impression of LMH acting as Daejang Choi Young dressed in ancient general attire gave me was "he's even looking good in that too!"
I do love the female lead in this drama too aka Kim Hee Sun who acted in "The Myth, 神话"
in 2005 along with Jackie Chan. When I first saw her appearing in the Faith, I was like *where on Earth I've seen this person before?? I pretty sure that I've seen her in movies* then only I came to realise that she was Princess Ok-Soo in "The Myth". Guess she's already a sunbae in the entertainment industry now since she has already worked with world class film stars.
OST "Endless Love,無盡的愛 /more well known as美丽的神话“ sang by Jackie Chan & Kim Hee Sun is my favourite song from the film which we've used that as a simple performance song during "Malam Jalinan Kasih"(Farewell Dinner when I was serving in National Service during the first quarter of year 2012)
8. Playful Kiss ★ Kim Hyun Joong ★Jung So-Min Genre: romance
Another drama which was mainly about romance. Kim Hyung Joong definitely showed more expressions here as compared to his role in BOF which was slightly nerdy, cool & calm all the time. After I've watched his Break Down MV, I was like...hmm...I'm really looking forward to him acting as an antagonist character in future ;)
9. Time Slip Dr. Jin (just completed) ♥ ★ Song Seung-hun ★ Park Min Young ★ Lee Seo Yeon Genre: historical, romance, time travel, medical Story about the parallel universe, where similar souls lead different life in another world. Time travel path started when Jin Hyuk's girlfriend went into coma after an accident. A mysterious power then caused Jin Hyuk to travel 150 years back into the past which was during the Joseon Dynasty. 10. Arang & the Majistrate (half way) Genre: fantasy, horror, comedy, romance Movies 1. Skyfall (watch later) 2, Bohsia Jangan Pilih Jalan Hitam [Musim 1] ♥ & Jalan Kembali Bohsia [Musim 2]
A Malay Movie which talks about life that Mat Rempit & Minah Rempit lived. Looking on the positive side of this production it do have some lessons as well as moral values even though it featured numerous social problems including illegal racing, drugs...
3. 初恋红豆冰 Ice Kacang Puppy Love (watch later)Bored of doing nothing like me? Feel free to browse through these official websites for free online streaming of Kdramas/movie: 1. www.maaduu.com 2. www.dramafever.com (less annoying advertisements interfering but unfortunately you are able to watch only the first five episodes) FYI these two are not the only website I've watched dramas from ;) enjoy exploring the sites Labels: drama, entertainment, movie ♥
Title: The Finale of Twilight Saga ~ Breaking Dawn Part 2 Time: Tuesday, December 11, 2012
Confession of a typical procrastinator: Should have posted this particular post few weeks ago but I left in as a draft till I forget to publish it :P
Mini gathering again among NS gang :) Though we already left the camp for approximately nine months, glad to say that our friendship bond still remains & hope it'll last forever.
Group photo of the day. Ps. too lazy to crop out & edit those unwanted stuffs so just bear with this original picture.
Random picture showing off....
Focus on the...TICKETS (watching Breaking Dawn Part 2 on the first day premiering in M'sia cinema outlet. Thanks to my movie partner of the day for reminding me about it!) & not my 'american flag mustache' ring though it's quite eye catching :P perasaan sikit*
Finally, Twilight Saga has come to an end after years. Flashing back to the times where I've read all those super thick story books written by Stephenie Meyer it was kind of unbelievable >< cuz I'm not that type of person who reads fictions. So even I've read *Twilight*NewMoon*Eclipse*Breaking Dawn*, don't tell me anything about "Harry Potter"(maybe i knew abt it a little, which is DANIEL RADCLIFF flew here & there with his flying broom in the series) /"Narnia"(smtg lion??/"Lord of the Rings" or whatsoever cuz I'm not interested at all. Speaking frankly, my classmate as well as bf(BEST FRIEND) who was the one that influenced me to read Meyer's vampire-themed fantasy romance novels. Since I seldom concentrate in lessons during my high school days, why not I do something rather than day dreaming in class. As a result, i enjoyed reading those novels in class :P However, I didn't watch all the series of Twilight Saga, just watched "Twilight", "Eclipse" & "Breaking Dawn"
Team Edward/ Team Jacob? Wondering which side am I in? I usually prefer to sit on the fence but its exceptional for this time as I'm in TEAM JACOB!;)

Title: Nine Girls, One Love Time: Thursday, November 29, 2012 GIRLS' GENERATION II ~Girls & Peace~ ALBUM
The post by SM TOWN a few hours ago is definitely inspiring me to blog about Girls Generation/SNSD/Soshi which is the first ever South Korean Girl Group I've felt in love with ;) To those who knew me for quite some time should know that I'm previously not interested in any Korean stuff but then lately I've been devoting everything about Korean from Kpop, Kdrama, Artists/Celebs, Tourism...besides sparing time with my family. Reflecting back...What a boring life I've lead before this?
Guess everyone around the world already know who they are, FYI those who yet not to know them, SNSD is the largest South Korean Girl Group consisting of nine beauties: Taeyeon (Leader), Jessica, Tiffany, Seohyun, Yoona, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung & Sunny who each portrays their respective uniqueness. Personally, I felt that Taeyeon, Tiffany & Seohyun have the best vocals performance as we could see in their "Twinkle" MV _TaeTiSeo. Hyoyeon is already well known as the dancing queen of the group by fellow fans due to her famed for her specialization in Hip Hop dance. To those who aren't mentioned here do have their own abilities too since all of them were born special in their own way but since its quite late now, so that I'm able to publish this post ASAP. To me every single member of SNSD is worth classifying as a role model even though they might have flaws & weaknesses, might have undergo plastic surgeries according to rumors... To those haters of SNSD, those girls are humans too & humans ain't perfect. However, don't you guys think that "the little imperfection in every human being actually makes someone special and turn out being extraordinary among others"? Besides SNSD, this phrase is indirectly mend for everyone of you (YEAH! I do mean U, U & U who are reading it) who have the opportunity to read this post Instead of criticizing them with the aim of wanting them to fall in a tragic demise, why not looking into their ways towards the path to succeed? ;) Bravo! SNSD had yet did a great job in debuting several albums as well as continue to solidify their placing in the music industry.
As a fan of them or I shall say as a so called Soshi (specific name for SNSD's fans) I'm always looking forward to their future production ^_^ Here are some favourite MVs & tracks of SNSD:
haha...My mum & some friends of mine was kind of flabbergasted when I started singing this catchy song aka "The Boys" in Korean ;)
Hmm...wonder if I sounded bad in Korean? Btw, I've tried memorizing the lyrics & parts of this song by kept on repeating the lyric video since I'm so obsessed with it at one time. Still liking it till now.
In my opinion, TTS's _"Twinkle" is definitely one of the song which has the best vocal performance among SNSD's debuted albums
It would be awesome if I could find someone who could sing this together with me #psdaydreamed4amoment#
That's all for today! Guess what? I've already have a topic in mind to blog about in my upcoming blog post. winks*

Title: Ipoh Homestay Time: Wednesday, November 28, 2012
Seems that I've been spending my holidays joyously although I just move around domestically & chilling at home throughout the days :D
Part of my holiday plan this time is definitely sparing time to blog since I've so much free time to utilize. This time I'm going to blog about my trip to Ipoh [ps. I've always labelled this town as "A Dead City" :P but no offence cuz personally I find this place super bored because ever since I was a baby till now I always visit that place numerous times in a year. Hence, causing me to get bored of things there] Perhaps I'm just not used to that place/ lifestyle there because it's quite difficult to hunt for food round the clock like we have in Penang Island. #foodieiam# However, there are lots of yummy food available there too varying hawker, restaurant & desserts. I think I've already try abundant of those delicacies & "caramel custard" is one of my all time favourite dessert in Ipoh. Let's just skip the food part since I don't have any pictures to post due to I always finish up everything then only realise I should have capture some screenshots before eating :P Maybe next time I shall hold on to my temptation & capture some local delicacies from Ipoh.
As for now, I would like to blog about my home staying in Ipoh. This is actually the first time we have to find a place to stay due to my relative has already sold off the house we used to stay whenever we visit Ipoh. I pressumed that we will have to overnight at a single storey or at most a double storey house but never thought of its a bungalow :D
Taadaa! A bungalow with more than 10 air-condition bedrooms with a toilet in every single room as well as a LCD TV. Not bad huh? ;)
Mummy & my room
2 single bed & 1 sofa = RM55 per night
Alright! That's about all for my 1st time home staying post till the next post...:)
