Dae Jang Geum,....can't rmb exactly all those names

 I'm obsess with this Korean Drama...♥ a.k.a Boys Over Flowers (BOF)  currently.  Regret for not watching the previous episodes.  I'll surely re watch this awesome drama after SPM :)
♥ Ku Hye Sun as Geum Jan Di

Jan Di is the headstrong daughter of a dry cleaner. While on a delivery run to Shinhwa High School, she saves a bullied student from committing suicide. Jan Di is offered a scholarship to attend the prestigious school, and ends up getting on the bad side of Gu Jun Pyo.

Jun Pyo is the leader of F4 (the most popular guy at Shinhwa High) and heir to the Shinhwa conglomerate. He torments Jan Di after she stands up to his bullying ways, but ends up falling for her instead.

Ji Hoo is a member of F4 and grandson of the Korean ex-president. His musical talent catches Jan Di's attention and she begins to develop feelings for him.

Synopsis      

  Shin Hwa School is a school for those filthy rich people, attended by Gu Jun-pyo, the heir of Shin Hwa conglomerate with his buddies Yoon Ji Hoo(the most handsome guy among the members of F4 who is talented in playing musical instruments), So Yi Jung(known as F4’s Casanova and a skilled potter), and Song Woo-bin(another playboy of the F4 which also hinted to be a mafia) which form a gang called F4.  The “F4” which have the four best looking boys and most powerful boys in the school is the limelight of the school.  Hence, the entire school was dominated by them.  Under the ruling of the main ruffian Gu Jun-pyo (a very tall guy which has a head of curly hair as his trademark), the F4 often target those who are getting in their ways. 

  Besides admiring and worshiping the F4, no one in the school had ever dared to challenge the F4 till Geum Jan-di attended Shih Hwa High School.  Jan-di(a normal schoolgirl who is the black ship in the school whose parents are just managing a small dry cleaning business)  was given a scholarship due to her exceptional swimming skills and also as a token of appreciation for saving a boy from committing suicide in the school premise in order to quite down all the negative publicities the incident had caused, finally speaks up against F4 to defend her one and only friend in the school, Oh Min Ji. From then on, she became Jun-pyo's main rival as well as the rest of the students’ main target of bullying after the F4 hung their red card on her locker.  However, she holds a certain soft spot for Yun Ji-hu, who appears to be different from the other three. He became her knight in shining armor and helps her out whenever she needs it. For instance, almost every time Jan-Di is bullied, Ji-hu tend to help her out in some way.

  On the other hand, Jan-di and Jun-pyo's rivalry intensifies, but at the same time it is a source of amusement for him as Jan-di has now caught his attention.  As time passed, Jun-pyo slowly starts falling for Jan-di.  He even openly professes his love for her in front of the school which made her become the envy of all the girls.  However, Jan-Di's attention is still on Ji-hoo, her savior which caused a conflict between Jun-pyo and both of them.  Luckily, under the guidance of Jun-pyo’s sister Jun-hee, the conflict was finally overcome by having a competition which was able to reconcile their relationships at the end.  Since then, Jan-di realised that her heart is with Jun-pyo.  Jun-pyo who was being raised by employees due to his parents worked 24/7 throughout his whole childhood life, was attracted by the warmth of Jan-di’s normal family after visiting her house several times.  Although he dismisses Jan-di at first because she is not rich, he ends up falling head over heels for her charming bright personality.

  The couple have to face many obstacles to uphold their relationship, especially when Jun Pyo's mother also as known as President Kang(President of the Shinhwa company) vehemently opposes to her son being with Jan Di.  She even arranged a surprise introduction to Jun-pyo’s fiancée, Ha Jae Kyung(JK global corporation CEO's daughter) during his birthday party by putting Jan-di in her guess list in order to put their relationship to a full stop.  Although the engagement was arranged by both parents which have the intention to cooperate in order to form a stronger bond in the business world through the marriage, Jae Kyung develops feelings for Jun-pyo.  However, being a best friend of Jan-di as well as ‘sister’, Jae Kyung was willing to sacrifice her love for Jun-pyo.  The cancellation of the wedding does not stop President Kang from continuing to make Jan-di’s life miserable.  She does everything in her power to stop Jan-di to be with her son when Jun-pyo finally bequeathed his father’s entire property after the announcement of his sudden death.   Hence, causing them to struggle even more for their pure-hearted love.

  Though many obstacles got in the way of their happiness.  Both Jun-pyo and Jan-di managed to find their way back to each other with the help of the F4, Jun Hee and many other Good Samaritans’.  Fortunately, with the blessings from everyone including Jun-pyo’s mother who relent her thoughts, the loving couple managed to tie the knot four years later.  At this time, they have already became the power couple of Korea as Jun-pyo turned out to be a successful CEO of Shih Hwa and Jan-di on the other hand became a well known child specialist of the country after graduating from Shih Hwa’s University.

My eye lids are getting heavier & heavier……In order to blog & frame up this lesson(last minute ‘amp pia’), I forced them to open for a little while more even though my battery are running low.  Hopefully, this is my last time risking my results in an irresponsible way.
