Title: Jocelyn's 18th Birthday
Time: Saturday, April 14, 2012
Didn't notice that I've been leaving my blog so dead these days even though I'm not studying at the moment. Lately, I'm going out with my friends practically every day since I was back from the jungle. :P Days after SPM are undeniably the longest holidays for SPM leavers but it is one of the most occupied holidays I ever had since I was chosen as a NS 9/2012 series first batch trainee.

Time really flies! Finally, I’ve already completed my so called “military training” which is the
NS training.
Today, I would like to blog about Jocelyn’s (Jo) advance birthday celebration. Basically, it was a small gathering among us(Jo, ME, Sim, CK, Marylyn, Richie & Vincent) as well as celebrating Jo’s birthday a day before the SPM result is out which is also Jo’s actual birthdate. We headed to Gurney Plaza for outing. Stop by Winter Warmers to chill a little while waiting for the others to arrive. As majority among us love to sing including me, so off we are to Red Box for the celebration after our light meals J As usual we sang our all time favourite <<我是一只小小鸟>> which is a high pitch song. Every single one of us just sang that song at the top of our voice especially when it reached the chorus part. I bet our “sweet” voices could even break a glass or maybe a diamond! Who cares? Amateurs like us are not singing for the fame but we are singing for the game!!! As long as we enjoyed that’s already more than enough J Besides that, we also sang soft & sentimental songs. All of us sang practically all types of songs with different languages & genres like English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, Indonesian, Korean & Hokkien. Perhaps, we should try singing Tamil & Thai song on our next Red Box visit. Winks* Right after our Red Box session we headed to GSC cinema to watch 3X Trouble which involved our local as well as Singapore casting. The movie was nice! Credits to the birthday girl for making the great selection. Off we are to Swensen’s for dinner. The servings were quite big for me, so Jo & I decided to share our meal. We enjoyed our yummy Macaroni as well as having a good chit chat together.
That's all for today. For your information, I'm still working on my blog post regarding the happenings on the first quarter of year 2012 ;) Can't really confirm the exact date of my posting but I'll make sure I post it up before I step into my Form 6 life. Stay tune for the upcoming updates. Bye! |
