Title: The worst technicians Time: Friday, August 12, 2011
My “nu ren” a.k.a Adelyne Emuang came over to help me to set up my wireless modem/WiFi as she already set up hers correctly at her house . First, we shifted ever single furniture (sofa, coffee table, computer table & side table) that obstruct our way to fix the thingy. We spent almost 3 donkey hours doing all sorts of nonsenses but failed to get the WiFi system fix. LOL!!! Acting like pro’s but ended up fixing all those wires incorrectly caused my house phone malfunction. Luckily we managed to fix it correctly after a few trial & errors connections. Phew……it will be the joke of the day if we cannot even fix the usual connections back instead makes things worse but messing up with everything. We are like ‘老鼠捕网’(don’t know whether I used the correct chinese wording or not. Forgive me if it’s wrong.) & of course the worst technicians in town.
Tired of those stuffs, gave up & went into the room the take a nap before revising Modern Mathematics but as usual, we ended up fooling around & disturbing each other in my room. I was flipping my curtain while Ms. Adelyne was busy playing games in my phone instead of snoozing, arghh….Aa!!!! I immediately pushed the poor Adelyne which was about to tumble from my bed & rushed towards my room door preparing to escape from a creature. There is a freaking lizard behind my room curtains! A picture taken by me while waiting for Adelyne to bring the vacuum cleaner over.
 Both of us hesitate quite a while before deciding who is supposed to vacuum that mini reptile. As it’s my room, I am force to do it! We successfully vacuumed the lizard but are unable to see in anywhere in the vacuum. Don’t bother much about it as long as it’s no longer in my cozy room. Despite both cowards, we scared each other & been scared by each other too. Basically, this is how we spent our Friday afternoon before attending Modern Mathematics tuition class. |
